Havins is an Alternative Americana band currently based in Boston, MA with a passion for performing honest and emotion-driven songs. The band had its inception in Austin, TX where lead singer and guitarist Dillon Havins met drummer Wilson Reardon and played many shows together on the Austin music circuit. After moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, they met guitarist Philip Etherington, pianist Jay Yin, bassist Claire Davis, and saxophonist Ryan Siegel. During their first semester at school, the group began to jam together and develop their sound. Working on some of Dillon’s recently penned songs, they created a unique blend of Rock, Americana, and Alternative. Their songs range from Guitar-driven Rock tunes, to mellow Alternative Folk recalling the likes of Bon Iver and Ben Howard. Some of the band member’s individual achievements include: appearing on America’s Got Talent, writing music for television, playing with with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and performing at Lollapalooza, as well as notable Austin, New York City, and Atlanta Music Venues.
